In the heart of Glasgow’s West End, 49 Hamilton Drive Is a Grade A listed Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson house.
The brief was to provide a family room and additional bedrooms to the rear of the existing property for a young expanding family.
The resulting design produced a linear extension with each space having direct access to the existing courtyard garden via large glazed sliding doors.
A glazed roof light runs the length of the internal circulation space allowing a visual link between old and new.
