Located on the Southern fringes of the city, ‘Turnberry’ is located on Humbie Road, Mearnskirk
Starting out as a modest extension to a typical Glasgow bungalow, the Client’s brief, during the early planning stages, expanded to provide a virtually new dwelling (only the front wall remained standing) with a brand new access.
The ground floor layout was rationalised to create a large kitchen / living area, guest bedroom with ensuite and a separate multi purpose room. The master bedroom suite and formal living area are situated on the upper floor.
The South elevation is dominated by a two storey glazed conservatory containing a spiral staircase which provides a short cut between the public areas.
