We received planning permission in March 2008 for our proposed Residential Development at Gilbert Street in Glasgow. Riach’s design for the development was considered by the Planning Department to be a “well-designed contemporary solution” and “in keeping with the Council’s desire to introduce good quality design into the City”, and has been praised by Yorkhill and Kelvingrove Community Council, who commented that they were “glad to see a design that showed more architectural imagination than previous schemes in the area.” We’re pretty sure that they didn’t mean Riach’s development on the other side of Gilbert Street, completed a few years back…
Detailed construction design of the development is now progressing apace, and works are due begin on-site later this summer.
