City Centre Residential Development Douglas Street, Glasgow
Currently fully immersed in the construction process, the development is rapidly taking shape as the first elements of the external envelope are applied to make way for the internal fit-out. As it evolves the building begins to reference its neighbours, tying itself into this small city centre plot and re-defining the built edge towards Snewmilnsiehall Street.
With the internal framing well underway the quality of each apartment begins to show with the large living area promising an expanse of natural light throughout the day. Likewise the functional quality of the building begins to make itself known as the project develops from a 2D drawing to a 3D reality.
An efficient working relationship between the contractor and the office continues as we approach the final stages of construction of what promises to be a valuable addition to Glasgow’s city centre.
