Car parking is provided for each wheelchair property along with an additional 4No spaces. The properties are served by a communal refuse system and a Combined Heat and Power plant to provide both reduced energy and heating costs.
Other low and zero carbon technologies include Heat Recovery Whole House Ventilation along with dedicated low energy light fittings. These technologies supplement the design which includes sunspaces and a well insulated, airtight construction. The development at present achieves an Ecohomes Excellent rating at pre-assessment stage.
