Belmont Street

The development occupies two sites in the Kelvinbridge area of Glasgow. The site to the north completes the existing crescent with a three and four storey "book end" whereas the site to the south - again comprised of a four storey "book end" and a five storey infill site fronts onto Belmont Street itself.

The development is located in an area designated as an Outstanding Conservation Area and as such Glasgow City Councils' strict design conditions apply, namely, that the buildings replicate as closely as possible the original buildings (now demolished).

This included a respect for the established grid street pattern and therefore the traditional building lines and continuity of street containment are prevalent within the design.
