At the heart of Glasgow University's vast Murano Street student residence complex, the Central Services Building deals with the general administration and upkeep as well as providing practical facilities for students.
Looking somewhat dated, Riach Partnership were appointed to create proposals for a full internal refurbishment, including the reallocation of the main hall as a social/study space. Our proposals include a new colour scheme with key fittings and fixtures to transform the main spaces. The large lower hall is re-envisaged as a place of assembly where students will have access to social space, computing facilities and flexible study spaces.
