Riach Partnership were commissioned by Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association in 2003 to develop proposals for the Comprehensive Tenement Improvement of 4 residential closes comprising 33 one, two and three bedroom flats of both Housing Association and privately owned properties. The works included full building fabric repair, new kitchens, bathrooms, central heating and common area improvements.
The acquisition of four ground floor retail units by the Housing Association allowed these to be converted into one wheelchair standard and three amenity standard dwellings for the Association.
Following negotiation with the owners of the remaining five retail units a scheme for the improvement of the shop fronts were also included in the works. The works were completed on time and on budget.
